yay got another pair of one teaspoons!  i'm addicted!  i'm sure i'm not the only one but when i get something new, i explore its possibilities by playing dress-up with it.  this pair is in a different shade from the ones in my last post.  it's more versatile and doesn't require any thought on what to pair it with so i just threw on anything i hadn't worn in a while - besides of course this grey tee.  i thought i was over this coat but with the sleeves rolled up, i'm in love with it again and its prim&proper-ness so perfect with these super casual shorts.  i don't know if my favorite part of this look are the red lips and the high ponytail or the clothes themselves.

this white vest, next to my 3 zara skorts is my favorite piece this spring/summer. i highly recommend this piece to change up any look. it gave this otherwise super casual outfit of a ribbed tank and cut-off shorts a very chic look and i can’t wait to pair it with flowy florals.

i have the black version of these shorts which i wore in a few posts back that i wear a lot, even more than my trusty levi's cutoffs.  yes, i also wear them to the grocery store and to pick up my girls from school but of course with casual tees.  they're such a staple for me this spring/summer so it was an easy decision to get this white pair too.  another spring/summer staple for me this year will be caged or lace-up sandals.  i have a few that luckily i saved from a few years back but these from charlotte russe are a nice updated version with the geometric cut-outs.  i've been wearing these with everything lately as well and been getting so much compliments.  i think i will get them in taupe as well!

favorite purchase of this spring so far would be this skort.  i ordered it about 3 weeks ago and was only now able to photograph it.  i even grabbed it in black as soon as it became available in stores too.  i had been looking for the perfect nude sandal for a couple weeks now and remembered i had these from last year.  i thought the silver complimented this white and nude look really well.

ryan and i joked that this shoot would be my little paris diary as we had some macarons at la boulange and walked over to the french quarters.  yeah, nothing close to the real thing but it was cute there haha.  

i know my last few outfits look so much alike but zara has really been feeding my love and/or obsession of white blouses with different variations like crossovers, the perfect casual one that goes with everything and now this double breasted trench-coat style.  this one's my favorite, epitome of casual chic!
